I've been running Creative Cloud for over a year and have been using Adobe products for over ten years.
This morning, I clicked the "Adobe Application Manager" icon and it displayed a message that it needed to update. Then it went through its installation routine and then threw the error, "Adobe Application Manager failed to install". I sent the package of bug information to Adobe with the ID: 40-14187-060018062013.
It's obvious that Creative Cloud is now broken and Adobe needs to fix this as soon as possible. The question is whether Adobe, by not providing the service that they have agreed provide, is now in default of their contract. I believe so.
My question...
Will I get a refund for the time that the service is not working, or will I have to contact my bank to have them put a hold on the auto-payment and seek a refund for the services not provided? And in case someone gives me the smarmy answer, "just cancel the service", I suggest they check contract law regarding "specific performance".
Dan Clark.
p.s. To answer the obvious questions... Yes, I ran this "as Administrator" and yes, I disabled my virus checker, and yes, I tried multiple times with system restarts every time.
