CC is hanging with no error code

I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.3 on a late-2013 iMac. This morning CC is greyed out in the menu bar, and when I click on it to pull it down, I see nothing but the spinning pinwheel: no tabs or anything. I've tried two fixes that worked earlier with update problems: (1) delete ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db; (2) rename HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/ to OOBE old/. Neither has had any effect. What can/should I do?
