It's time to install a few new programs, and try to update long-outdated adobe software, and once again I am unable to do any of this because of Adobe's insistance on using something other than standard protocals for downloads.
What do I need to do to get past the 2 errors below permanently?
For updates to programs:
The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes. (u43m1d207)
For new instals:
The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes. (-60)

The work around I was given was something that turned off multiple downloads IIRC, but the next time the download manager updated, the workaround quit working again.
I would like a permanent solution, not a work around.
